On our recent visit, my wife chicken salad was lacking....mixed greens and a chicken finger, 13 bucks and not very good at all. Who knew the Adirondacks had a "Mud Season"! Food was a bit too spicy but the portions were great and so was the price.We came to Old Forge last week without realizing that all the locals would be gone and the shops and restaurants would be closed! A place to visit in the summer months so you can enjoy the beautiful views of the lake while eating.We enjoyed 4 different entrees and all were very good: Chicken Parmesan, chicken quesadillas, the ranchhand sandwich and I deluxe burger.
