Dane County has acquired nearly 24 miles of streambank easements that provide public access to these streams and is a leader in improving cold water habitat in these areas. The project cost $620,000 with $420,000 from Dane County and the additional funding from a DNR grant. Use of the launch is free for residents of the Town of Pleasant Prairie.
