At the mid point there is a lot of construction as a pipe line is being installed. The pastoral farmlands that dominate much of the landscape along the Conewago Trail give way to lush forests a short distance into Lebanon County, giving users the impression that they are far from civilization (though, in reality, you are never far from main roads). I would imagine after a rain it would be a bit of a mess, though. Otherwise my wife and I always enjoy our time on the trail. With the really nice fall weather, the traffic will get worse with leaf peeper on the weekend.
