Domaine Serene, a family owned winery started as one 42-acre hilltop estate logged in the beautiful Dundee Hills of Oregon, now produces wines from six individual vineyard estates. The nice part is being able to taste international wines, side by side to local wines.
They do not create the space or environment that I would ever recommend to someone I care about engage with. It was a nice selection and interesting to compare DS w/the french wine.

This is reminiscent of a famous case from 1992 when Kendall-Jackson won a court decisi Will be back soon for another and another flight of Pinot Noir. Collin provided good customer service, his positive energy made this place even better. Oh, and don't forget to try their excellent IPA.
We ordered a chef's tasting menu and they were considerate of our needs in many ways. "Antica Terra provides the most exceptional wine tasting experience you can imagine. I will definitely be here a few days a week. The ambiance was perfect. Clearly a high end winery with breathtakingly beautiful vineyards, and gorgeous tasting areas.
We were able to enjoy outside seating; it was gorgeous. Delicious wine, at multiple price points. I have tried just about every thing on the menu and have enjoyed it all. Im not really a wino, but i really loved the pinot the server recommended! Absolutely the fanciest winery we visited in the area, though a little pretentious.
Nice choice of wines to taste as we were offered 4 whites and 4 reds. domaine serene is the only winery in the world to receive a top 3 rating in wine spectators top 100 wines of the year for both pinot noir and chardonnay. The decor and atmosphere is classy, yet very relaxed and unpretentious. A glass will cost anywhere from $15-$30, while a flight about $50.

We tried many many different wines that were great!! My husband I took my mother in law on a Wednesday night for dinner and we loved it sat next to a beautiful fireplace, the wine was amazing...Thank you for the 5 Stars K8E! Everything about our time there was top notch, from the scenery, to the service and to the delicious wine. For one- the winery itself is lovely.
The architecture and landscape is distinct for the Willamette Valley. We stopped at 3 other local wineries before we finally settled here... All the others made us wait to sit down for tastings and made it difficult for us to just walk in and get a glass of wine...Domaine made it easy for us to just walk in, get a glass of wine, and enjoy the scenery (why is that so hard for the other wineries??). The food was wonderful. I did a girls trip to Portland. For us regular people, who enjoy good wine, we did enjoy the indulgent visit to Domaine Serene even though we were "excluded" from the really nice areas.
Prices are high but you get what you pay for! I had been to the winery in Dundee Hills a few times previously and am an avid fan of the wines. Each course provide two samples, one local and one from their French estates. The combination of the three made it an afternoon to remember. Yum! Two keys here- make a reservation and don't come on a weekend.
