The Kramer Focus VT-211S has a classic rock and roll “S” style Mahogany body that comes in Ruby Red, Pewter Gray, Candy Blue, and Purple natural satin finishes. Stanley Jordan, the jazz tapper, was probably their most famous player. Neck: Bolt-on Maple. The ESP made Focus had gold decals. Frets are in great condition. Condition is Used. In 1985 the design changed to be more like the Randy Rhoads V made by Jackson, with a shortened lower wing.This is a really nice guitar, made nicer by the fact that it was found as unsold “New Old Stock” in the basement of the old 8th Street Music in Philadelphia.
In 1987, the Focus's name was shortened to the "F" series and model numbers were placed on the truss rod cover until 1989 when the model designation was deleted and there was only a Kramer logo on the headstock and nothing else. This was followed in 1984 by the Kramer Striker line, made in Korea.The initial Kramer Focus line consisted of copies of the Baretta, Pacer, and early Vanguard models, plus Kramer’s early Fender-style bass and their thinner Stagemaster bass. This item may be a floor model or store return that has been used. Neck construction became more complex sometime in 1984 when Kramer transitioned to the banana-shaped headstock.

So, when Kramer began to use wooden necks, they logically turned to other vendors to obtain them. It has a Floyd Rose, with fine-tuners. (Kramer did have some neck thru's though, Showmaster,etc..) 87 Kramer Pacer Deluxe, 87 Kramer Pacer Imperial, 88 Kramer Nightswan, 83 Kramer V, 88 Kramer F3000, 87 Charvel Model-3, Charvel Jake mutt, > into some rack stuff. The Floyd Rose on mine didn’t yet have the fine tuning screws on the bridge so it was hard to tune once you screwed down the nut.I had the exact one like that, unfortunately I had to sell it when I was broke in college back in 1985.
